Since the inception of The Center, education has been a
top priority. From the thousands of students who come in
all year long for field trips to artists sharing their gifts through our community
outreach programs, opportunities abound. The opening of
The Conservatory is a physical manifestation of the broad
educational programs that are the core of The Center's philosophy.
We recognize and support creativity on all levels. Not
everyone wants to make the performing arts a career. Some
people like to "dabble," exploring many different
areas of the arts. The Conservatory allows you to select
the level of commitment and education with which you are
comfortable — whether it is a half-day workshop in
writing children's literature or a 10-week class in stand-up
comedy. For some students, the journey itself is the dream
coming true.
